Share your favourite memory with your family
Our first snow day. Coming from Florida my family has never seen snow, and not too long after moving to Texas, we had an unexpected snowstorm. We used the few things we had unpacked and made our own fun including making sleds, snow angels, and building our first family snowman.
Tell us a family tradition that’s unique to your clan
For Christmas Eve (We call it Noche Buena) we do a whole pig roast in a cinder block smoker and have family come over to celebrate.

What’s the funniest thing your child has said?
“I don’t like things from the 1990’s. That’s really old, and everything is black and white.”

What are your tips for staying connected during a pandemic?
If you think about someone randomly don’t hesitate to call them. Trust me, they will appreciate hearing from you. Don’t try to schedule all calls, just be spontaneous and reach out.

These last few years I have been so focused on my family and life that I haven’t spoken with old friends as often. Every time I speak with them it is always a good time and brings joy.
